DFCCIL signs MoU with CRWC to reduce logistics cost

New Delhi: Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL) and Central Railside Warehouse Company Limited (CRWC) have signed an MoU on October 21. "The MoU has been signed for utilising the services of the latter for upgrading and creating multi-modal logistics parks and integrated warehousing complexes along or near DFCCIL rail network," said DFCCIL in a press release.

The MoU was signed by DFCCIL Managing Director (MD) Anurag Kumar Sachan and CRWC Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) Narinder Kumar Grover in New Delhi. CRWC Managing Director Arun Kumar Shrivastava and other senior officials from both DFCCIL and CRWC were present on the occasion.

The synergy between DFCCIL, CRWC to boost traffic

This synergy between DFCCIL and CRWCL is expected to give a boost to the traffic to be carried over through DFCCIL by making the transport over DFCCIL complete and integrated with warehousing, and last-mile connectivity in a seamless manner. This association is bound to reduce logistics costs and thereby attract more traffic from other modes.
