Dharmendra Pradhan to visit RSP during his visit to Rourkela
Raurkela: Union Minister for Petroleum & Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan is on a three-day visit to Rourkela and will visit SAIL's Rourkela Steel Plant. Pardhan was received at the airport by Member of Parliament of Sundargarh and Chairperson of the Parliamentary Committee on Defence Jual Oram and SAIL's Chairman Anil Kumar Chaudhary.
At the airport, SAIL's Director (Commercial) Soma Mondal, Director (Personnel) Atul Srivastava, Director (Technical) Harinand Rai, MLA, Biramitrapur Shankar Oram, Raurkela Steel Plant's CEO Dipak Chattaraj, ADM Dr Vijay Yeddulla, as well as many other senior officers of SAIL, district administration and eminent citizens of Rourkela were also present.
Speaking to media persons, Pardhan said, "I have come here to understand the various issues pertaining to Rourkela. I will meet various stakeholders including workmen and will visit the mines also. We will work towards making Rourkela an important industrial hub of the state and the country." "During his stay at Rourkela, Pradhan will visit Rourkela Steel Plant, interact with the senior officers of RSP, representatives of Unions and Executive Association of RSP, interact with customers of RSP, address a Press Conference, meet Govt officials, representatives of various organisations and local people. Besides, the Minister will also attend some functions in Rourkela," said a press release.
