New Delhi: Dibendu Das is set to be the next Director (Finance) of Engineering Projects (India) Limited (EPIL), a PSU under the Ministry of Heavy Industries & Public Enterprises. He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Monday. Presently, he is serving as General Manager in Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Limited (SPMCIL).
Das has been recommended for the post of Director (Finance) of EPIL from a list of five candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB panel in its selection meeting held on November 21. Other candidates who were on the list were namely: Ashok Kumar Patra from EPIL, Debasish Ghosh from MECON, Nav Ratna Gupta from POSOCO and Dilip Srivastava from Lanco Anpara Power Ltd.
As Director (Finance) of EPIL, Das will be a member of the Board of Directors and will report to the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD). He will be overall in charge of the finance and accounts of the organisation and will be responsible for evolving and formulating policies related to finance and accounts as well as implementation. The Director (Finance) post in EPIL is vacant since April 30.
