ONGC is looking for Director (Offshore); apply before July 30

ONGC Recruitment 2020: Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC), a Maharatna PSU under the administrative control of the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (MoPNG) has invited job applications for the post of Director (Offshore). Eligible candidates can apply for the job before July 30. The post is vacant since May 1.

The Director (Offshore) is a member of the Board of Directors and reports to the Chairman and Managing Director (C&MD). He/She is overall in charge of the offshore production operations of the company.

Pay scale: Rs 1,80,000/- 3,40,000/- (IDA)

Age Limit: Minimum age limit 45 years and age of superannuation 60 years

Employment status

The applicant must, on the date of application, as well as on the date of interview, be employed in a regular capacity – and not in a contractual/ad-hoc capacity – in one of the followings:-

(a) Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) (including a full-time functional Director in the Board of a CPSE);
(b) Central Government including the Armed Forces of the Union and All India Services;
(c) State Public Sector Enterprise (SPSE) where the annual turnover is *Rs 10,000 crore or more;
(d) Private Sector in a company where the annual turnover is *Rs 10,000 crore or more.
Preference would be given to candidates from listed companies.
(*The average audited annual turnover of three financial years preceding the calendar year in which the post is advertised shall be considered for applying the approved limits)

Qualifications

The applicant should be an engineering graduate with a good academic record from a recognised university or institution.

Applicants holding a postgraduate degree in Engineering or Management or relevant sciences of Geo-Science will have added advantage.

Experience

The applicant should have at least five years of cumulative experience at a senior level of management during the last ten years in an organization of repute in the petroleum sector.

Experience in exploration & production sector will have added advantage.
