Dr Shyam Agrawal appointed as Independent Director of IGL

New Delhi: Board of Directors of Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) has appointed Dr Shyam Agrawal as an Additional and Independent Director of the company with effect from December 6, 2022. This information has been shared by IGL in a regulatory filing to the stock exchange on Tuesday

Dr Shyam Agrawal is a Ph D (Law), LLM, LLB and FCS. He is a Practicing as Company Secretary. He has experience of more than 15 years and has held the posts of President and Vice-President of The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). He is also associated with The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), ICMAI Registered Valuers Organisation, ASSOCHAM etc.

"He has no relationship with other Directors and he is not debarred from holding the office of Director by virtue of any SEBI order or any such authority. He is not holding any shares of the company," the company further added.
