New Delhi: Dr Srinivas Hanumankar is set to be the next Member (Human Resource) of the Airports Authority of India (AAI), a PSU under the Ministry of Civil Aviation. He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Friday. Presently, he is serving as Member General of the Indian Railways Personnel Service (IRPS) of the Indian Railways.
Dr Hanumankar has been recommended for the post of Member (HR) of AAI from a list of 11 candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB selection panel in its selection meeting held on July 28. Out of 11 candidates, six candidates were from AAI, two candidates from Container Corporation of India Limited (CONCOR) and one each from Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited (MDSL), Engineers India Limited and IRPS.
As a Member (HR) of AAI, Dr Hanumankar shall be a Member of the Board of AAI and shall report to Chairman. He shall be overall in charge of coordinating and implementing personnel and industrial relations policies, management functions, administrative control etc. in the organization. He is expected to play a leadership role and provide effective support in achieving sustained growth of the organization’s business.
