New Delhi: EdCIL has paid a dividend of Rs 9.5 crore for the FY2018-19 (Financial Year 2018-19). EdCIL (India) Limited (formerly known as Educational Consultants India) is a Miniratna PSU under the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD).

EdCIL's Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) Manoj Kumar presented the dividend cheque (EdCIL dividend for FY2018-19) to Union Minister for Human Resource Development Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank in the presence of Secretary (MHRD) Amit Khare and Additional Secretary for Technical Education Dr Rakesh Sarwal and senior officials of EdCIL.

EdCIL has registered a turnover of Rs 317.27 crore and a profit before tax (PBT) of Rs 43.79 crore during the financial year 2018-19

EdCIL offers project management and consultancy (PMC) solutions across education verticals covering ICT/IT solutions, online testing and assessment services, advisory services, infrastructure, PMC, procurement and overseas education services.

The company is executing a mega-project of Ministry of HRD called "Study in India" to increase the number of inbound foreign students to India. The program includes setting-up of a large portal, call centre, social media campaign, branding, event management and setting-up of facilitation centres.
