New Delhi: Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (Power Grid), a Maharatna PSU under Ministry of Power, has been awarded Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS) IS/ISO 37001 certification by Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) in a program held on May 8 at its Corporate Centre, Gurugram.
The ABMS Certificate was handed over by Lalthan Pari, Director, Management System Certification (Central), BIS to Dharmendra Kumar Madan, Chief Vigilance Officer, Power Grid in the august presence of Ajay Tewari, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Power, RK Tyagi, CMD, Abhay Choudhary, Director (Projects), G Ravisankar, Director (Finance), Dr. Yatindra Dwivedi, Director (Personnel), Ashish Tripathi, Chief Vigilance Officer, BIS, Anish Anand, Dy. CVO, Power Grid and senior officers of Power Grid and BIS.
The Chief Guest of the event Ajay Tewari, Add. Secretary (MoP) spoke about the importance of Vigilance mechanism in government organisations.
The ABMS certification to Power Grid is commitment to transparency & act as preventive vigilance tool for fairness and integrity in the organization under the guidance of Central Vigilance Commission and Ministry of Power.
During the event, training sessions on ABMS were also conducted by BIS & Power Grid officials.
