New Delhi: Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has been honored for its exceptional contribution as one of the top revenue contributors in CGST (Central Goods and Services Tax) and Central Excise, Mumbai Zone.

The prestigious recognition was conferred at a grand ceremony held today in Mumbai, commemorating the GST Day.

BPCL's Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) G Krishnakumar and Director (Finance) VRK Gupta received the citation and appreciation plaque from the Governor of Maharashtra Ramesh Bais.

After receiving the award, BPCL CMD said, “The recognition of BPCL as a top revenue contributor in CGST and Central Excise, Mumbai Zone, is a testament to the company's unwavering commitment and significant role in driving the growth of our nation's economy.

It serves as a reminder of the transformative impact of this comprehensive tax system on India's economy and the business landscape.

The acknowledgement of BPCL's exemplary performance in tax compliance and revenue generation underscores the company's strong financial management and ethical business practices. It further reinforces BPCL's position as a leading organization in the energy sector, known for its dedication to excellence, innovation, and contributing to the overall welfare of the country.
