
Hyderabad: Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL), a PSU under the administrative control of Department of Atomic Energy, has distributed schools bags and water bottles to the students of ZPHS (Boys) and ZPHS (Girls), Malkajgiri, under CSR activity. At a function held at ZPHS (Boys), Malkajgiri ECIL's Executive Director (Finance) Swarna Sankaran distributed school bags and water bottles to the students in the presence of headmasters and other teachers. ECIL's Head (P&A) Asifulla Baig, Personnel Officer (CSR) Sunil Kumar J, President Ch Bhasker Reddy and General Secretary N Narasimha, staff & workers union and President Kamal Kant, & Secretary of ECIL Officers Association D Venkanna also participated in the programme. ECIL distributed 900 Bags and 900 Water Bottles to both girls and boys students of the schools.
Addressing the gathering on the occasion, Swarna Sankaran advised the students to involve in sports which is important to keep them fit both mentally and physically. On this occasion, the ECIL officials motivated the students to study well and score good marks in academics and update themselves on current affairs which will help them to write competitive exams and government exams in future.
During the last five years, ECIL has provided infrastructure and facilities in various government schools in Keesara, Kapra, Alwal and Malkajigiri Mandal of Medchal districts like construction of toilets, classrooms, multi-purpose halls, kitchens, RO Water plants, providing computer education including supply of computers & faculty, Class Room Benches, School Bags, Water Bottles, sports items and also conducted health camps to the students in government schools.
