Building on the success of previous campaigns, Special Campaign 4.0 seeks to improve the overall efficiency of government operations, while promoting a cleaner and more organized work environment. The campaign also aims to raise awareness about environmental sustainability, particularly through the integration of Eco Clubs for Mission LiFE in schools, and continued promotion of the #EkPedMaaKeNaam (#एकपेड़माँकेनाम) initiative, contributing to a greener future.

The campaign will be executed in two phases. The Preparatory Phase, running from September 16 to September 30, 2024, will involve setting targets and identifying field units and outstation offices where the Swachhata (cleanliness) drive will take place. During the Implementation Phase, scheduled for October 2 to October 31, 2024, the focus will shift to addressing pending references, managing public grievances, and simplifying rules and processes. Other key activities include record management, the disposal of scrap and redundant items, and the beautification of offices.
