GRSE wins ‘Best IT Implementation Project’ award at Governance Now PSU IT Awards 2026

New Delhi: Defence PSU and shipbuilding company Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Limited (GRSE) has been honoured with the “Best IT Implementation Project” award at the 11th Governance Now PSU IT Awards, further strengthening its credentials in digital transformation and technology-led excellence.

The award was presented on May 29 at a ceremony held at Hotel Eros, Nehru Place, New Delhi, by Anurag Thakur.

According to an official statement, the recognition marks GRSE’s third consecutive achievement at the Governance Now PSU IT Awards, reflecting the shipyard’s sustained commitment to deploying advanced digital technologies across its operational and business functions.

The company had earlier received the “Best Use of Emerging Technologies” Award in 2024 and the “Digital Transformation Excellence” award in 2025.

GRSE said the latest award acknowledges its ongoing efforts to leverage digital solutions for enhancing operational efficiency, streamlining business processes and fostering innovation across the organisation.

The shipbuilder has been actively pursuing digital transformation initiatives aligned with the Government of India’s Digital India vision. These initiatives focus on the adoption of smart systems, automation, data-driven decision-making and the development of a future-ready workforce.
