
New Delhi: Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), in collaboration with the HAL (B) Families Welfare Association, hosted the inaugural National Women’s Conference ‘Tejasvi’ at the HAL Management Academy. The conference, themed “Women Who Create Radiance at Home and in the Workplace,” highlighted women’s contributions across personal and professional spheres.
Manisha Chandra, IAS, Joint Secretary (Aero), Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence, was the Chief Guest. She emphasised the values of “RADIANCE”—Radiant, Authentic, Dedicated, Intelligent, Adaptable, Nurturing, Creative and Empathetic—in her address.
The event also marked the release of a Golden Jubilee Postal Cover commemorating 50 years of welfare initiatives by the HAL (B) Families Welfare Association. Eminent speakers, including Padma Shri Dr. Vijayalakshmi Deshmane, Dr. Bhavani Rao, and Satyabhama Gupta, shared insights on leadership, resilience, sustainable finance, and work-life balance.
Over 350 women delegates from HAL, defence establishments and CPSEs across India participated in the conference, which featured interactive sessions and networking opportunities.
