New Delhi: Housing and Urban Development Corporation Limited (HUDCO), a Navratna NBFC-IFC under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, organised a Har Ghar Tiranga campaign event at the India Habitat Centre (IHC), New Delhi, as part of the nationwide campaign being observed from August 9 to 17, 2026.

Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs and Power Manohar Lal inaugurated a Har Ghar Tiranga kiosk at the India Habitat Centre in the presence of HUDCO CMD Sanjay Kulshrestha, IHC Director Prof K.G. Suresh, TERI Director General Vibha Dhawan, officials of HUDCO and IHC, representatives of organisations based at the centre and schoolchildren.

Addressing the gathering, the Minister urged citizens to participate in the campaign and hoist the National Flag at their homes. He said the Tiranga represents India’s freedom, unity, identity, dignity and the collective aspirations of its people.

The Minister also highlighted the sacrifices associated with India’s independence and called upon the youth to uphold national values and make the campaign an expression of patriotism and national unity.

The event featured tricolour-themed decorations and selfie points to encourage public participation. Children from the Habitat Learning Centre presented a rendition of *Vande Mataram*, following which the Minister distributed National Flags among the children.

The initiative is aimed at encouraging participation across age groups and reinforcing the themes of patriotism, national unity and collective responsibility associated with the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.
