New Delhi: Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) on Friday observed International Labour Organizations’ ‘World Day for safety and health at work’ with Chairman cum Managing Director (CMD) OP Singh unfurling the safety flag at company headquarters in Sambalpur. MCL’s Director (Personnel) Keshav Rao, Director (Finance) AK Behura, Chief Vigilance Officer PK Patel senior executives and other employees were present in this occasion.

CMD administered the ‘Safety pledge' to observe safety practices at all levels of work ensuring safe and healthy working environment. Singh congratulated all for record coal production and despatch in the previous financial year and also remembered the coal martyrs for their contribution towards securing energy security for the nation.
