IREDA launches TB screening camp under 100-day TB Mukt Bharat Campaign

New Delhi: State-owned Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA) has launched a two-day Ni-Kshay Shivir (TB Screening Camp) at its corporate office in New Delhi as part of the Government of India's 100-Day Intensified Campaign under the TB Mukt Bharat initiative.

The screening camp, which commenced on Monday, is being conducted in collaboration with the Central TB Division of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The initiative aims to facilitate early detection and prevention of tuberculosis among employees, reinforcing the national effort to eliminate the disease.

The camp was inaugurated by IREDA CMD Pradip Kumar Das in the presence of senior company officials.

Addressing the gathering, Das reiterated IREDA's commitment to supporting national health programmes and contributing to the government's vision of a tuberculosis-free India.

"IREDA remains committed to supporting national health initiatives and the Government's vision of a TB-free India. This camp reflects our responsibility towards employee well-being along with our mission of clean energy. Early screening is vital to eliminating TB and we encourage everyone to participate," he said.

A team of healthcare professionals from the Central TB Division conducted screenings during the camp, focusing on awareness, early diagnosis and preventive healthcare measures.

The initiative forms part of the broader TB Mukt Bharat Campaign launched by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, which seeks to accelerate India's efforts towards tuberculosis elimination through intensified screening, awareness generation and timely treatment interventions.

With the screening camp, IREDA has joined the nationwide 100-day campaign aimed at strengthening public health outreach and promoting preventive healthcare among employees and communities.
