Meeting of FOPO executive members held in New Delhi

New Delhi: A meeting of the Executive Committee Members of Federation of Oil PSU Officers (FOPO) was held at Delhi on January 19, to discuss various issues which have a bearing on the performance of these PSUs. Since the majority of organisations in FOPO are Maharatna companies (viz, Indian Oil, ONGC, BPCL, HPCL, GAIL and Oil India Limited), their strategic role in the excellent growth story of our country in last few years cannot be over-emphasised.

These PSUs have also been instrumental in implementation of flag bearer schemes (like Ujjwala, Skill India, Make in India and many others) as a part of the strategy of Government of India for equitable distribution of fruits of growth especially to the weakest sections of society.

The Federation brainstormed on measures to maximise interests of various stakeholders such as Government, Society, customers, shareholders and employees as it directly and indirectly affects the interests of PSU Executives.

The Convenor of FOPO Mukul Kumar chaired the meeting with representation of more than 20 office Bearers of Constituent Member Organisations from across the country.
