The unrelenting efforts made by Sharma have played an important role in development of hydro power sector in Nepal. His contributions are of great significance, especially in expediting the signing of Project Development Agreement (PDA) of Lower Arun HEP (669 MW) in a record time. Under his dynamic leadership, SJVN is developing three Hydro Projects of 2199 MW in Nepal, which are 900 MW Arun-3, 669 MW Lower Arun & 630 MW Arun-4 Hydro Electric Project.
