NTPC Bongaigaon team wins Regional Professional Circle Award for Digital Innovation Initiative

New Delhi: NTPC Bongaigaon has been recognised for its digital innovation after securing the Regional Professional Circle Award (ER-II) for its initiative titled “SAHAYOGEE – Synchronising the Site Digitally.” The achievement highlights the station’s efforts towards advancing operational efficiency through technology-driven solutions.

The award was presented by Arindam Sinha, Regional Executive Director (ER-II and SR), NTPC Limited, in the presence of senior officials from the ER-II region.

The award-winning project was presented by Uddipan Pal, Senior Manager (TMD), and Satyam Boral, Assistant Manager (BMD). Their concept focuses on improving digital integration and accountability in site operations through a user-friendly mobile application.

The SAHAYOGEE initiative is designed to digitise several site-level processes, including material tracking, equipment history management, safety documentation, non-moving inventory monitoring, inter-departmental material movement, vehicle requisition, and consumable usage. The initiative aims to enhance efficiency, transparency, and institutional knowledge management at NTPC Bongaigaon.

Following this regional recognition, the project team will now represent NTPC Bongaigaon at the Corporate Level Professional Circle Meet, where the initiative will compete at the highest organisational platform within NTPC.

The recognition reflects NTPC Bongaigaon’s continued emphasis on innovation, digital transformation, and operational excellence, while encouraging employees to contribute ideas that strengthen systems and processes at the grassroots level.

The Professional Circle is a structured internal initiative within NTPC that promotes innovation, problem-solving, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement across departments and stations.
