NTPC Bongaigaon wins national awards for safety and CSR excellence

New Delhi: NTPC Limited’s Bongaigaon station has received two national-level recognitions for excellence in occupational health, safety, environment management and corporate social responsibility initiatives.

NTPC Bongaigaon was awarded the Gold Category in the OHS&E Excellence Award 2026 by the International Business Conference (IBC) for its outstanding performance in Occupational Health, Safety and Environment (OHS&E) management. The award was received by Rajiv Ranjan, AGM (Safety), on behalf of the station.

In another achievement, the station received the 12th Greentech CSR Award 2026 in the Healthcare Promotion (Rural) category for its sustained efforts towards improving healthcare accessibility and promoting community well-being through impactful CSR initiatives. The award was accepted by Smriti Das, Executive (CSR, LA & R&R).

The awards were later presented to Arnab Maitra, Head of Project, NTPC Bongaigaon, who congratulated the Safety and CSR teams for their contribution towards achieving the honours. He appreciated the efforts of employees and stakeholders in maintaining high standards of safety, environmental management and community engagement.
