

New Delhi: NTPC Vindhyachal organised the NTPC Open Competition for Executive Talent (NOCET) 2026, providing a platform for executives to showcase innovative ideas, creativity and practical business solutions.

A total of 11 teams, comprising executives from the Executive Trainee level to Assistant General Manager (AGM), participated in the competition. The presentations were evaluated by a panel comprising senior leadership from NTPC Vindhyachal and an external expert from Reliance Power Sasan.
The team comprising Suman Kumar Singh, AGM (Operation); Saurabh Banaudha, AGM (IT); Baljeet Yadav, DGM (Operation); and Saswati Garnaik, Senior Manager (IT), secured the first position.
Dheer Singh Chauhan, DGM (C&I), and Utkarsh Shukla, Engineer (C&I), secured the second position, while the team comprising Deepak Kumar, Senior Manager (Operation); Nilesh Nayan, Senior Manager (P&S); Shivam Verma, Engineer (Operation); and Sajid Nezam, Senior Assistant Engineer (Operation), finished third.

The competition highlighted NTPC Vindhyachal’s focus on fostering collaboration, continuous improvement and innovation among its executives. The initiative also sought to encourage employees to translate creative ideas into practical solutions aimed at enhancing organisational performance and excellence.
