RailTel wins two awards at 12th Governance Now PSU Awards

New Delhi: RailTel Corporation of India Ltd (RailTel) has won two awards at the 12th Governance Now PSU Awards for its achievements in infrastructure development and financial performance.

The Navratna public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Railways was recognised in the categories of Excellence in Infrastructure Development and Best Overall Financial Performance according to an official statement issued by the company.

The award for Excellence in Infrastructure Development acknowledges RailTel’s continued efforts to build and expand a strong telecom and digital infrastructure across India. Through its extensive optical fibre network and digital platforms, the company supports connectivity, digital services and e-governance initiatives for government institutions, enterprises and citizens.

RailTel was also honoured for Best Overall Financial Performance, reflecting its strong financial growth, operational efficiency and consistent performance. The company said its strategy focuses on balancing business diversification with financial discipline to ensure sustainable revenue expansion and long-term value creation.

The recognitions reaffirm RailTel’s commitment to strengthening India’s digital backbone and supporting the vision of a connected and digitally empowered nation.
