

New Delhi: RITES Limited celebrated its 52nd Foundation Day on Tuesday, underscoring its legacy of delivering infrastructure projects in India and across global markets.
The Navratna PSU used the occasion to highlight its contribution to connectivity, economic development, and infrastructure creation over the past five decades, with operations spanning more than 55 countries across Asia, Africa, Latin America, and the Middle East.

As part of the celebrations, the company inaugurated ‘Abhikalp – Centre of Excellence’, aimed at strengthening its capabilities in advanced and emerging technologies. The facility was inaugurated by former Director (Project Studies) JC Kalra along with a next-generation employee representative, reflecting the company’s focus on blending experience with fresh talent.
The Centre of Excellence is envisioned as a hub for innovation, knowledge-sharing, and next-generation infrastructure solutions. It is expected to integrate RITES’ domain expertise with digital tools and advanced technologies to deliver efficient, sustainable, and future-ready consultancy services.
Speaking on the occasion, Kalra emphasised the importance of adapting to evolving industry dynamics and leveraging innovation to remain competitive in a rapidly changing infrastructure landscape.
The Foundation Day celebrations also featured a month-long, pan-India talent initiative titled ‘RITES Got Talent’, culminating in a grand finale with 26 finalists showcasing skills ranging from performing arts to creative disciplines. The programme aimed to foster employee engagement and promote a culture of creativity within the organisation.
