

New Delhi: Standing Conference of Public Enterprises (SCOPE) has partnered with the International Coaching Federation (ICF), USA, to launch a first-of-its-kind comprehensive study titled “State of Coaching in Indian PSEs”, aimed at assessing the current coaching landscape and organisational culture across Public Sector Enterprises (PSEs).

The joint initiative seeks to develop a tailored coaching framework for Indian PSEs, enabling the integration of structured coaching practices and the creation of internal coaching capabilities within organisations. The study will adopt a combination of primary and secondary data collection methods to build an evidence-based strategic framework.
Leveraging the combined expertise of SCOPE, the apex body representing PSEs in India, and ICF, a leading global organization dedicated to advancing coaching practices, the study is expected to redefine leadership excellence in the public sector. It will focus on equipping PSEs with specialized tools and methodologies to embed coaching into their leadership development processes.

The initiative marks a significant step in SCOPE’s ongoing efforts to strengthen organizational excellence within the public sector ecosystem. By quantifying the tangible impact of coaching, the study aims to ensure that leadership development is closely aligned with measurable and sustainable business outcomes.
Once completed, the framework is expected to provide actionable insights for PSEs to institutionalize coaching as a strategic lever for enhancing performance, leadership capability, and long-term growth.
