SJVN organises 'Safai Mitra Suraksha Evam Samman Shivir' at Shimla headquarters

New Delhi: SJVN organised a “Safai Mitra Suraksha Evam Samman Shivir” at its Corporate Headquarters in Shimla on Wednesday as part of the ongoing Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign 2026

The camp was inaugurated by Ajay Kumar Sharma, Director (Personnel), SJVN, in the presence of Rajesh Kumar Chandel, Director (Projects), SJVN; Pankaj Porwal, Chief Vigilance Officer, SJVN, and senior officials.

As part of the initiative, SJVN organised a special health camp for Safai Mitras, offering health screening and medical services. A medical team from the Himachal Pradesh State Health Department conducted blood tests and blood pressure checks and provided X-ray facilities to the participating Safai Mitras.

The initiative was aimed at promoting health awareness and supporting the overall well-being of Safai Mitras engaged in sanitation and housekeeping services.

SJVN also organised a felicitation ceremony to recognise Safai Mitras and volunteers for their contribution to the Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign. Best-performing Safai Mitras and volunteers were honoured for their active role in housekeeping, sweeping and support services.

The initiative highlighted SJVN’s focus on the safety, dignity, health and welfare of Safai Mitras and their contribution to maintaining cleanliness at the organisation’s facilities.
