Steel Ministry of organises "3rd Bi-Annual Vigilance Conclave - 2023"
New Delhi: The Ministry of Steel has been organising the Vigilance Conclaves as an exercise of Preventive Vigilance with the support of Vigilance Departments of the CPSEs under its administrative control.
Ministry of Steel's Secretary Nagendra Nath Sinha, Additional Secretary Ruchika Choudary Govil, AS and FA Sukriti Lekhi, Joint Secretary & CVO Abhijit Narendra, KIOCL Limited's CMD T Saminathan, NMDC's CVO B Vishwanath were present on the occasion.
The Vigilance Conclave was commenced with invocation song followed with lighting the lamp. The conclave aims to sensitize officers of Steel CPSE on the basic principles on procedures to be followed while taking important administrative / procurement and commercial decisions and to make them effective and outcome oriented. Eminent speakers, who have deep knowledge and experience in such matters made presentation and interacted with the officers.
The conclave will act as a platform for sharing of good practices and for mutual learning. Officers of Steel CPSEs from Procurement, Tendering, Contracts, Finance, HR and other divisions are nominated for the two days conclave.
