New Delhi: Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd. marked World Heritage Day by hosting a group of school students at its corporate office in Kolkata, showcasing the company’s rich legacy as part of a heritage walk initiative.

The visit was organised in collaboration with Halo Heritage and saw participation from over 80 students representing various schools across the city. The corporate office, itself a heritage building, served as the venue for the curated walkthrough.

During the visit, students were taken through Balmer Lawrie’s archives and introduced to its 160-year corporate journey. The session highlighted key milestones in the company’s evolution from its origins to becoming a diversified and trusted enterprise.
