
New Delhi: Telecommunications Consultants India Limited (TCIL) has been conferred with the HR Excellence Award at the Fortune Leadership Awards 2025 held on October 11 at Radisson Blu Plaza, Delhi.
The award recognises TCIL’s exemplary human resource practices focused on employee development, innovation, and inclusivity. It was presented by Dr. Dinesh Upadhyay, Former Member, Ministry of AYUSH, and MS Nethrapal (IRS) and was received by P Suresh Babu, Chief General Manager (HR), TCIL, in the presence of distinguished leaders from diverse sectors.
Between 2021 and 2025, TCIL implemented a series of transformative HR reforms aimed at creating a future-ready, empowered workforce aligned with the Government of India’s Mission Karmayogi. These initiatives included the rollout of a comprehensive HR policy, function-wise restructuring for enhanced accountability, merit-based promotions, timely Departmental Promotion Committees (DPCs), a performance-linked management system, and digital integration through e-Office and ERP platforms.
The company also placed a strong emphasis on skill-building and capacity development. Over the past few years, 58 TCIL executives have earned international certifications in cybersecurity, networking, and auditing, enhancing project delivery capabilities and contributing to improved organisational performance and business growth.
Through its people-centric approach, TCIL has fostered a culture of inclusivity, transparency, and innovation. The organisation’s HR strategy, integrating policy, technology, and talent, continues to support national initiatives such as Digital India, Smart Cities, and BharatNet, positioning TCIL as a role model among Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) advancing India’s digital transformation.
