FACT’s CMD Kishor Rungta assumes charge as Chairman of FAI-SR

New Delhi: FACT Limited's Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) Kishor Rungta has assumed charge as Chairman of Fertilisers Association of India, Southern Region (FAI-SR) on Wednesday. He is serving as CMD of FACT Limited since February 2, 2019. Prior to joining FACT Limited, Rungta was serving as Director (Finance) of Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL).

Kishor Rungta is a qualified cost accountant and law graduate.  He had an illustrious career of over 33 years in different industrial establishments of repute both in public and multinational private sector companies like Grasim Industries, Modi Group of Industries, Essar Steel, ISPAT Industries, MMTC promoted Steel Plant in Orissa covering sectors such as cement, steel, cables, strategic electronics and others in different capacities. He has over almost 16 years of board-level experience in various public sector undertakings (PSUs). He also worked as Director (Finance) and Acting Chairman & Managing Director of Hindustan Cables Limited, National Instruments Limited and Bharat Bhaari Udyog Limited.

The Fertiliser Association of India (FAI)

The Fertiliser Association of India (FAI) is an elite body that represents the fertiliser manufacturers, distributors, importers, equipment manufacturers, research institutes and suppliers of inputs. The 'FAI-SR' covers stakeholders from the states of Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.  FAI aims to bring together all concerned with the production, marketing and use of fertilisers. The Regional Office focuses primarily on issues and have continuous liaison with the fertiliser manufacturers operating in the region, the state governments and other local authorities.
