PSUs celebrated ‘Samvidhan Diwas’ by reading out the ‘Preamble’ of the Constitution of India
Samvidhan Diwas (Constitution Day) is celebrated in India on November 26, every year to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India
New Delhi: NHPC Limited celebrated ‘Samvidhan Diwas’ across all its regional offices, power stations, projects and units on November 20 to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India. The celebrations at NHPC corporate office were led by NHPC Limited’s CMD AK Singh by joining reading of the ‘Preamble’ of the Constitution of India by the President of India Ram Nath Kovind at Kevadia, Gujarat through live telecast. All the Directors and CVO of NHPC also participated in the program from their offices and other locations. The preamble was also read out at various NHPC divisions by the respective heads of departments along with other senior NHPC officers and employees. The program was celebrated following social distance norms in view of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
Samvidhan Diwas celebration in SAIL
On the occasion of ‘Samvidhan Diwas’ SAIL’s Chairman Anil Kumar Chaudhary read out the preamble with the President of India via video conferencing. Later he also read the preamble with the SAIL employees and officials. The celebrations were held at various SAIL plants/units to commemorate the event.

Samvidhan Diwas celebration in NSIC
To commemorate the 'Samvidhan Diwas' NSIC's Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) Vijayendra (IAS) preamble to the Constitution of India with all the NSIC employees. On the occasion, NSIC's Director (P&M) P Udayakumar and Director (Finance) Gaurang Dixit were also present. Constitution Day is observed in the country as 'Samvidhan Divas' to promote constitutional values amongst the citizens of the country.
