GRSE inaugurates free health check-up camps for contractors’ workmen

New Delhi/Kolkata: Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers (GRSE) Limited has widened its CSR horizon by starting a new project – free health camps for 2,500 contractors' workmen.

Reputed Hospitals like Apollo Gleneagles Hospital and Medinova Diagnostics Services have been roped in for conducting a wide array of tests for Contractors' Workmen. The project has been inaugurated by GRSE's Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) Rear Admiral VK Saxena IN (Retd.) in presence of all Directors, senior Management of GRSE and senior Executives of Apollo Gleneagles Hospital on November 18. The camps will be held subsequently in the other four units of GRSE.

During these difficult pandemic times, the underprivileged people find it very difficult to access medical facilities and neglect their health. Through this initiative, GRSE has addressed these concerns of the Contractors' Workmen engaged in the Company by arranging medical tests right in the Company premises. More than 2,500 contractors' workmen will be benefited by this CSR initiative.
