HAL & Indian Navy sign ‘Mutual Expression of Interest’

New Delhi: Indian Navy and Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) have signed a 'Mutual Expression of Interest' to facilitate the Faculty Exchange Programme between Naval Institute of Aeronautical Technology, Kochi, and HAL Management Academy, Bengaluru, on February 24, said a statement on Friday. This association is aimed to facilitate the development of key skill-sets amongst trainees to help them imbibe the latest aviation technologies and maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) management through the conduct of short-term, long-term and capsule courses, guest lectures, workshops and conferences.

The 'Mutual Expression of Interest' has been signed by Assistant Chief of Naval Staff (Air Material) RAdm Deepak Bansal (VSM) and General Manager & Head of HAL Management Academy Dr G Srikantha Sharma during the 3rd IN-HAL Apex Level Meeting in the presence of Deputy Chief of Naval Staff VAdm Ravneet Singh (PVSM, AVSM, NM) and HAL's Director (Operations) MS Velpari. "The staff and trainees of both the Institutes would be immensely benefited through this exchange," a press release from the Ministry of Defence said.
