HAL received 'Raksha Anveshan Ratn' award for the development of Indigenous AFCS and 'Raksha Srijan Ratn' award for design of Auxiliary Power Unit

Gandhinagar: Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) received the distinguished awards of excellence for its exemplary contribution in the field of defence and aerospace from Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on October 20. The defence company won the award in the Institutional and Individual/Team categories at the DefExpo22, held in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.

HAL receives awards for innovation and design

HAL received the ‘Raksha Anveshan Ratn’ award for the development of Indigenous Automatic Flight Control System (AFCS) for the Light Combat Helicopter (LCH) in the Institutional category and for the design and development of Radio Altimeter with high range and accuracy for Su-30 MKI aircraft in the Individual/Team category.

HAL also received ‘Raksha Srijan Ratn’ award for the design and development of Auxiliary Power Unit (GTEG-60) for AN 32 aircraft in the Individual/Team category.

The ‘Raksha Anveshan Ratn’ Award is given for excellence in innovation and ‘Raksha Srijan Ratn’ is awarded for excellence in indigenisation.

HAL CMD CB Anathakrishnan and officials received the awards from the Defence Minister during the Bandhan programme.
