HEC’s CVO Arbind Prasad (ITS) gets additional charge as CVO of Scooters India Ltd.

New Delhi: Arbind Prasad (ITS) is the new Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of Scooters India Limited (SIL), Lucknow. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the proposal for the entrustment of the additional charge of the post of CVO of SIL on Tuesday. Prasad is an Indian Telecommunication Service (ITS) officer of the 1994-batch. He is currently serving as CVO of HEC Limited, a Ranchi-based Miniratna PSU under the Ministry of Heavy Industries. According to an order from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), he has been given additional charge of the post for a period co-terminus with his tenure as CVO of HEC, i.e. up-to June 15, 2023, or till the appointment of a regular CVO in SIL or till further orders, whichever is earlier.

Arbind Arbind's background

Prasad has completed his bachelor of engineering (Electronics and Communications) from NIT, Patna and masters in engineering (Electronics and Communication) from IIT- Roorkee. He also underwent training of the Management Development Programme at the Asian Institute of Management, Manila (Philippines).

They design, develop, manufacture and market a range of conventional and non-conventional fuel driven three-wheelers. They also possess the world right of the trade name LAMBRETTA/ LAMBRO.  The company has been a pioneer in bringing out various models of 3-wheelers running on diesel, electric and CNG for application as both passengers and load carrier versions. They have played an important role in popularizing of 3-wheelers of larger capacities in the country.
