New Delhi: (ACC AppointmentsThe Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of as many as 15 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers on Monday. The full list is here

Pradip Kumar Tripathi (IAS) has been appointed as Secretary (Coordination) in the Cabinet Secretariat. Tripathi is a 1987-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the Jammu & Kashmir cadre. Currently, he is serving as Secretary in the Department of Personnel and Training, under the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions. He has held as Secretary in the Ministry of Steel.

Neel Kamal Darbari (IAS) has been appointed as Chairperson of the National Authority Chemical Weapons Convention (At Secretary Level). Darbari is a 1987-batch IAS officer of the Rajasthan cadre. Presently, he is posted as Managing Director of Small Farmers' Agri-Business Consortium under the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare.

S Radha Chauhan (IAS) has been appointed as Secretary in the Department of Personnel & Training under the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions. Chauhan is a 1988-batch IAS officer of the Uttar Pradesh cadre. Presently, she is posted in her home cadre. With her new assignment in the Personnel Ministry, she will replace Pradip Kumar Tripathi (IAS), who has been transferred to Cabinet Secretariat.

Devendra Kumar Singh (IAS) has been appointed as Secretary-General of the National Human Rights Commission (At the Secretary level). Singh is a 1989-batch IAS officer of the Kerala cadre. He is currently posted as Secretary in the Ministry of Cooperation.

Gyanesh Kumar (IAS) has been appointed as Secretary in the Ministry of Cooperation. He has been appointed to the post in place of Devendra Kumar Singh (IAS), who has been transferred to the National Human Rights Commission. Kumar is a 1988 batch IAS officer of the Kerala cadre. Presently, he is posted as Secretary in the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs. According to the appointment order. Kumar will also hold the additional charge of the post of Secretary in the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs.

Alkesh Kumar Sharma (IAS) has been appointed as Secretary in the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology. Sharma is a 1990-batch IAS officer of the Kerala cadre. Presently, he is posted as Secretary (Coordination) in the Cabinet Secretariat.

Sanjay Kumar (IAS) has been appointed as Secretary in the Department of Youth Affairs under the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports. Kumar is a 1990-batch IAS officer of Bihar cadre. Presently, he is posted in his home cadre.

SKG Rahate (IAS) has been appointed as Secretary in the Department of Justice under the Ministry of Law & Justice. Rahate is a 1990-batch IAS officer of the Jharkhand cadre. He is currently posted as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Power.

The ACC has also approved in-situ up-gradation of the following officers to the level of Special Secretary in the rank and pay of Secretary to the Government of India as a measure personal to them by temporarily upgrading the posts held by them:

Vijoy Kumar Singh (IAS) has been appointed as Special Secretary in the Ministry of Textiles. Singh is a 1990-batch IAS officer of the Punjab cadre. Presently, he is posted as an Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Textiles.

Atul Kumar Tiwari (IAS) has been appointed as Special Secretary in the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship. Tiwari is a 1990-batch IAS officer of the Karnataka cadre. Presently, he is posted as an Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.

Archana Agrawal (IAS) has been appointed as a Member Secretary in the National Capital Region Planning Board, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs at the rank of Secretary to the Government. Agrawal is a 1990-batch IAS officer of the Uttar Pradesh cadre. He is currently posted as Member Secretary in the National Capital Region Planning Board, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA).

Ganji Kamala V Rao (IAS) has been appointed as Managing Director of India Tourism Development Corporation Limited (ITDC) at the rank of Secretary to the Government of India. Rao is a 1990-batch IAS officer of the Kerala cadre. He will continue to hold the additional charge of the post of Director General (Tourism).

K Moses Chalai (IAS) has been appointed as Secretary in the North Eastern Council Secretariat under the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region at the rank of Secretary to the Government. Chalai is a 1990-batch IAS officer of Manipur cadre.

Arun Baroka (IAS) has been appointed as Special Secretary in the Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation under the Ministry of Jal Shakti. Baroka is a 1990-batch IAS officer of the UT cadre. Presently, he is posted as Additional Secretary in the Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation.

The ACC has further approved the appointment of Alka Upadhyaya (IAS) as Chairperson of the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) in the rank and pay of Secretary to the Government by restoring the post to Secretary Level. She is a 1990-batch IAS officer of the Madhya Pradesh cadre.
