Bureaucratic Reshuffle: UP Govt transfers these 18 IAS officers

New Delhi: In a major state-level bureaucratic reshuffle, the Uttar Pradesh government has transferred 18 IAS officers, ahead of Panchayat elections in the state. Department of Appointment & Personnel of Uttar Pradesh issued the number of the transfer orders in the late night of March 3. Here is the list of IAS officers who have been transferred to the newer post:-

Anjaney Kumar Singh (IAS), who was posted as District Magistrate of Rampur district, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner of Moradabad Division (In-charge). Singh is a 2005-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the Sikkim cadre.

Surendra Singh (IAS), who was posted as Secretary to the Chief Minister, has been transferred to Meerut Division and become the commissioner of Meerut. Singh is a 2005-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the Uttar Pradesh cadre.

Sanjay Goyal (IAS), who was posted as Secretary to the Department of Revenue, Relief Commissioner and Secretary Basic Education, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner of Prayagraj Mandal. Goyal is a 2004-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the Assam cadre.

Deepa Ranjan (IAS), who was posted as Additional Housing Commissioner of Uttar Pradesh Housing and Development Council, Lucknow; has been transferred as posted as District Magistrate of Badaun. Deepa is a 2013-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the Uttar Pradesh cadre.

Shubhrant Shukla (IAS), who was posted as Special Secretary to the Chief Minister, has been transferred and posted as District Magistrate of Chitrakoot. Shukla is a 2013-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of Uttar Pradesh.

Ashutosh Niranjan (IAS), who was posted as District Magistrate of Basti, has been transferred and posted as District Magistrate of Deoria. Niranjan is a 2010-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) of Uttar Pradesh.

R Ramesh Kumar (IAS), who was posted as Commissioner Prayagraj Division, has transferred as posted as Commissioner Bareilly Division. Kumar is a 1995-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) of Uttar Pradesh.

Ravindra Mandar (IAS), who was posted as Municipal Commissioner Mathura Vrindavan, has been transferred and posted as District Magistrate of Rampur. Madar is a 2013-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) of Uttar Pradesh.

Soumya Aggarwal (IAS), who was serving as Managing Director of Dakshinchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam, Agra, has been transferred as posted as District Magistrate of Basti. Aggarwal is a 2008-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) of Uttar Pradesh.

Jitendra Pratap Singh (IAS), who was posted as Director of Mandi Council, has been transferred and posted as District Magistrate of Kanpur Dehat. Singh is a 2013-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) of Uttar Pradesh.
