IRCON is looking for CMD; apply before August 21

IRCON Recruitment 2020: Ircon International Limited (IRCON), a Miniratna PSU under the Ministry of Railways, has posted a job through the PESB portal for the engagement of Chairman & Managing Director (CMD). Eligible candidates, as per described criteria, can apply for the job before August 21.

The Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) is the chief executive of the corporation and is accountable to the board of directors and the government. He/She is responsible for the efficient functioning of the corporation.

Pay scale: Rs 2,000,00/-  3,70,000/-  (IDA)

Age Limit: Minimum age limit 45 years and age of superannuation 60 years

The applicant must, on the date of application, as well as on the date of interview, be employed in a regular capacity – and not in a contractual/ad-hoc capacity – in one of the followings:-

(a) Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) (including a full-time functional Director in the Board of a CPSE);
(b) Central Government including the Armed Forces of the Union and All India Services;
(c) State Public Sector Enterprise (SPSE) where the annual turnover is *Rs 2,000 crore or
(d) The private sector in a company where the annual turnover is *Rs 2000 crore or more.
Preference would be given to candidates from listed companies.
(*The average audited annual turnover of three financial years preceding the calendar year in which the post is advertised shall be considered for applying the approved limits)

Qualification

Applicant should be a graduate with a good academic record from a recognised university or institution.
Applicants with Technical/MBA qualifications will have added advantage.

Experience

Applicants should possess adequate experience at a senior level of management in a large organisation of repute.
Applicants with experience in Finance/ Marketing/ Production/Projects will have added advantage.
Experience of infrastructure projects, especially railway projects, is desirable.
