New Delhi: The certificate distribution program held on February 22 at SMS Public School, Khora Colony, Ghaziabad, showcased the vibrant CSR partnership between Ircon International Limited, Bisnouli Sarvodaya Gramodyog Sewa Sansthan (BSGSS) and the district administration in skilling and empowering the marginalised women in Khora through sustainable livelihood projects. It is a remarkable achievement that with Ircon's generous support, BSGSS enabled over 88 percent of the previous batches of beneficiaries to become self-reliant either by job placement or setting up micro-enterprises of their own post completion of training in trades like cutting and tailoring, beauty culture, computer operation and English speaking.

IRCON's Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) SK Chaudhary along with Seema Chaudhary, graced the function as chief guest and distributed certificates to the trainees in the presence of IRCON's Executive Director Subhash Chand, NITI Aayog's Adviser Parag Gupta (IAS), SDM (Ghaziabad) Aditya Prajapati, Professor Seema Pandey, Anas Ali Khan, Ritu Arora, Pratap Bhanu Singh and Raghu Partap Pareekh. All office-bearers of the NGO, including Nandita Bakshi (CEO), Lokendra Sharma (President), Anup Kumar (Director-Operations) were present. The event was covered extensively by Doordarshan.

While interacting with participants SK Chaudhary spoke about in detail the importance of IRCON's CSR projects and underlined the need for inculcating hard work, dedication, values, entrepreneurial competencies and capacity building etc among beneficiaries for their sustainable development.

All trainees happily shared their experience during the training and the initiatives were undertaken post completion of training programmes for income generation with the support of the NGO.
