New Delhi: Indian Renewable Energy Development Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA) Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) Pradip Kumar Das on Saturday visited IREDA's funded unique CSR initiative "Therapy on Wheels," run by Kullu-based NGO Samphia Foundation. Under this initiative, therapy facilities are provided to differently-abled children in Kullu District by reaching them in remote interior areas. Congratulating Dr Shruti More, Founder of the Samphia Foundation and Team of Samphia Foundation for international recognition, IREDA CMD encouraged them to extend their reach to more differently-abled children at their doorstep through "Therapy of Wheels."

During his visit, Das accompanied by IREDA's AM (PR) Rohit Gupta, interacted with several beneficiaries of the project to under the impact of the project. He expressed his happiness at the positive response received from the parents of the children. Das said that it gives him immense satisfaction to see the positive impact of this unique initiative in the remote villages of Kullu in true spirit. He reaffirmed that, as a responsible public sector company, IREDA is committed to empowering differently-abled children apart from the development of the renewable energy sector.

IREDA had provided an air-conditioned mobile medical van in November 2020 to the Samphia Foundation to provide various kinds of therapy, such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy, to children with disabilities.
