RINL Recruitment 2023: The Steel making PSU, Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers Limited (RINL) has released a job notification for the engagement of Director (Technical). Eligible and interested candidates can apply for the job before February 23, 2023. The post will fall vacant on October 1, 2023.
Director (Technical) is a member of Board of Directors and reports to Chairman and Managing Director (CMD). He acts as head of the Technical/Operations Division of the company. His responsibilities include exercise of control over the efficient operation of the plants of the company in a manner which would ensure optimum utilization of resources. He also acts as Principal Adviser of the Company in all technical and operations matters.
Pay scale: Rs 1,80,000 – Rs 3,40,000 (IDA)
Age Limit: Minimum age limit is 45 years and the age of superannuation is 60 years
The minimum length of service required in the eligible scale will be one year for internal candidates, and two years for others as of the date of the vacancy.
The applicant must, on the date of application, as well as on the date of interview, be employed in a regular capacity – and not in a contractual/ad-hoc capacity – in one of the followings:-
(a) Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) (including a full-time functional Director in the Board of a CPSE);
(b) Central Government including the Armed Forces of the Union and All India Services;
(c) State Public Sector Enterprise (SPSE) where the annual turnover is *Rs 2,000 crore or more;
(d) Private Sector in company where the annual turnover is *Rs 2,000 crore or more.
Preference would be given to candidates from listed companies.
(*The average audited annual turnover of three financial years preceding the calendar year in which the post is advertised shall be considered for applying the approved limits)
The applicant should be an engineering graduate with good academic record from a recognised university or institution.
Applicants with Chemical Engineering and or holding MBA or Post Graduate Diploma in Management will have added advantage.
The applicant should possess adequate technical or operational experience or exposure at a senior level of management in a large organization of repute, out of which at least five years during the last ten years should have been in major production units in fertilizers or chemicals or petrochemicals sector.
Note (i) Applicants from Central Government or All India Services should be holding a post of the level of Joint Secretary in Government of India or carrying equivalent scale of pay on the date of application.
(ii) Applicants from the Armed forces of the Union should be holding a post of the level of Major General in the Army or equivalent rank in Navy or Air Force on the date of application.
Applicants from State Public Sector Enterprises/ Private Sector should be working at Board level position or at least a post of the level immediately below the Board level on the date of application.
The appointment shall be for a period of five years from the date of joining or upto the date of superannuation or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
