Kapil Dev inaugurates DavaIndia’s 1st company outlet at Indian Oil retail outlet in Delhi

New Delhi: Indian Oil, The Energy of India is working to provide better and efficient customer services to its customers in fuel and non-fuel categories. In its latest pioneering initiative, Indian Oil had tied up with Dava India Generic Pharmacy Ltd. for the opening of its "company – outlets" at Indian Oil retail outlets in Delhi and Haryana.

Under this initiative, Legendary Cricketer and brand ambassador of DavaIndia Kapil Dev inaugurated DavaIndia's 1st company outlet at Indian Oil Retail Outlet Welcome Motors, Saket, New Delhi in the presence of Shyam Bohra, Executive Director and State Head, Delhi State Office of Indian Oil, Zota Health Care's CEO Ketan Zota, Delhi State Office's Chief General Manager (Retail Sales) Sanjay Kumar Sinha and other senior officers from both the companies.

Speaking on the occasion Bohra reaffirmed the value proposition of Indian Oil through this tie-up with DavaIndia for the customers. The new initiative would help in providing access to generic cost-effective medicines closer to the customers. Bohra further informed that 12 more DavaIndia stores are in the advanced stage to be rolled out at Indian Oil retail outlets in Delhi.

Rolling out of DvaIndia's 1st company outlet at Indian Oil retail outlet has paved the way for the start of a long-term relationship of Indian Oil with DavaIndia for the benefit of customers. Indian Oil through its endeavour is providing value-added services to its customers by venturing into non-fuel offerings at its retail outlets. The opening of DavaIndia outlet has marked the beginning of many more such stores at Indian Oil Petrol Pumps in Delhi and Haryana in due course of time.

The new initiative would give an impetus to "Generic medicines" and its benefits would be reaped by wider sections of the population thus making medicines affordable and accessible by all.  DavaIndia can envisage leverage upon the vast network of Indian Oil retail outlets and other touchpoints to every corner of the country. The initiative in is line with Atmanirbhar Bharat, which would help in employment generation as well.
