BDL inaugurates Vigilance Awareness Week 2019

Hyderabad: 'Vigilance Awareness Week 2019' is being observed in Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) from October 28. The theme of observance of Vigilance Awareness Week of this year in the Miniratna PSU under the Ministry of Defence is "Integrity – A way of life."

BDL's Director (Finance) S Piramanayagam administered the pledge, by way of a 'live" telecast, to employees of the company located at BDL, Kanchanbagh unit, Bhanur unit and Visakhapatnam unit.

On the occasion, BDL's Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) Dr Vennam Upender, IPoS, Director (Technical) NP Diwakar and other senior executives of the company were also present.

During the week-long vigilance awareness campaign, various activities such as essay writing competition on the topic, "Integrity – A way of life" and slogan writing competition on "Ethical Living" will be organised for employees of the company to spread vigilance awareness.

Essay writing completion on the topic "How to make our country corruption-free" and poster making competition on the topic "My idea of corruption-free society" also would be held for school children to sensitise them about the ill-effects of corruption.

Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) is one of India's manufacturers of ammunitions and missile systems. It was founded in 1970 in Hyderabad, Telangana. BDL was established in the year 1970 to be a manufacturing base for guided weapon systems.
