NRDC’s CMD Dr H Purushotham gets tenure extension

New Delhi: National Research Development Corporation's (NRDC) Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) Dr H Purushotham has got an extension beyond January 21, 2020, till further extension order, the PSU said in a press release on Tuesday. The eminent scientist Dr H Purushotham took charge as the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of NRDC on January 22, 2015. With about 35 years of diverse experience across the innovation value chain in different industry verticals, he has served as a scientist in various capacities in various CSIR laboratories of the country and during his five years tenure under his leadership NRDC got "Best PSU Award".

Dr Purushotham himself was also honoured with many awards recognising his leadership skills in bringing sustainable turn around in NRDC. He has authored/ co-authored 65 project reports, 5 book chapters, one book, published/ presented 85 research papers in various journals and conferences, filed three patents and helped the industry in commercializing more than 200 technologies in different sectors. Recently, Dr H Purushotham has been honoured with 'Top Rankers Excellence Award 2020' at New Delhi for his dynamic leadership.
