New Delhi: RailTel Corporation of India Limited, a Mini Ratna PSU of the Ministry of Railways celebrated its 23rd Foundation Day on September 29 at the CSOI auditorium. The program was attended by RailTel CMD Sanjai Kumar, Anand Kumar Singh, Director/Finance, and Dr Subhash Sharma, Independent Director, N Manoharan, independent Director, Rakesh Ranjan, Executive Director (Telecom Development), Ministry of Railways & Government Nominee Director and Dr Chandramani Sharma, CVO, senior officers, staff & families from corporate office & regional offices.
Addressing the RailTel family on this momentous occasion, Sanjai Kumar, Chairman & Managing Director (CMD), said "I thank the entire extended Railtel family for their dedication and hard work for the growth of the company. We are a very young company with a mix of experienced and young blood in all our verticals. This is a very exciting time for us as there is a huge opportunity for RailTel to grow multifold in the coming years by riding the tide of the digital transformation momentum which is the buzz word and the world is going digital at full force. RailTel, being an IT, and ICT service provider can play a pivotal role in the digital transformation journey of any organization. We are adapting to new technologies and upgrading ourselves to provide better service. In the coming few years, RailTel will become an enabler in the Data Economy".
Talking on this occasion, N Manoharan, Independent Director of RailTel said, "RailTel as a company has a very solid foundation and strong management. Adaptability as per market requirement is RailTel's USP which is going to help RailTel to grow massively in the coming time."
In his address, Dr Subhas Sharma, Independent Director at RailTel said, "Great vision is very important to achieve greatness. I believe that RailTel as a team has the vision of taking this company to a greater height and I am sure all of us together can make that happen in no time."
The gala evening was made memorable by a mesmerizing musical program by the cultural team of Lucknow Division, Northern Railway.
