New Delhi: Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL) has extended financial support of Rs 11.86 lakhs under its Corporate Environmental Responsibility (CER) initiative for Skill Development program on Machine Operator in Life Sciences (Pharma) at the Skill Development Institute (SDI), Arilova, Visakhapatnam.

30 local candidates from Visakhapatnam and Coastal Andhra belonging to economically weaker sections possessing 12th class and above qualifications were given on-the-job skill enhancement training for a period of two months. The 61 days training is completed on January 3.

It is heartening to inform you that out of 30 trainees already 23 candidates got placements before the completion of the training itself.

RINL CGM (HR) CS G Gandhi and SDI's General Manager Imtiyaz Arshad interacted with the trainees, handed over the training completion certificates at the valedictory function which was held at SDI, Visakhapatnam today i.e., on January 4.

All the trainees expressed their gratitude to RINL, Visakhpatnam steel plant for providing all the facilities required for the training. Officials from CSR department of RINL and SDI, Visakhapatnam are also present at the function.
