NALCO recruitment 2019: National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO), a Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Mines, has invited applications for the post of Director (Project & Technical) and the last date to apply for the job is January 14, 2020. The date of vacancy for the post is November 1, 2020.

Director (Projects & Technical) is a member of the Board of Directors and reports to the Chairman & Managing Director (CMD). He/she is in charge of all projects, expansion schemes, including feasibility studies, techno-economic evaluations, planning and implementation of the projects and CAPEX. He/she is also responsible for all the technical and engineering services required for the satisfactory performance of the various units of the company.

Age Limit Minimum age: 45 years Pay scale: Rs 1,80,000 – 3,40,000 (IDA)

Employment status The applicant must, on the date of application, as well as on the date of interview, be employed in a regular capacity – and not in a contractual/ad-hoc capacity – in one of the followings:

(a) Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) (including a full-time functional Director in the Board of a CPSE);

(b) Central Government including the Armed Forces of the Union and All India Services;

(c) State Public Sector Enterprise (SPSE) where the annual turnover is *Rs 5000 crore or more;

(d) Private Sector in a company where the annual turnover is *Rs 5000 crore or more. Preference would be given to candidates from listed companies.

(*The average audited annual turnover of three financial years preceding the calendar year in which the post is advertised shall be considered for applying the approved limits)

Qualifications Applicant should be an engineering graduate from a recognised university or institute with a good academic record. Applicants holding an MBA degree or postgraduate diploma in management will have an added advantage.

Experience Applicant should possess adequate experience at the senior level of management in a large organisation of repute, out of which minimum two years during the last ten years should have been in project execution/ management. Experience in the metallurgy sector, especially in integrated aluminium projects, is desirable.
