New Delhi: Rajeev Kumar Srivastava is set to be the next Director (Projects) of Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation (MRVC) on Saturday. He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Saturday. Srivastava is an Indian Railways Service of Engineer (IRSE) officer. Presently, he is serving as Chief Engineer in the Indian Railways.
Srivastava has been recommended for the post of Director (Projects) of MRVC from a list of two candidates in the PESB selection meeting held on June 18. Another candidate who was on the list was also from Indian Railways.
The Director's (Projects) post in MRVC will fall vacant on September 1, 2022. Vijay Nathawat is the current Director (Projects) MRVC.
As Director (Projects) of MRVC, Srivastava will be a member of the Board of Directors and will report to the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD). He will be overall in charge of planning, detailed engineering and execution of various civil engineering works and projects management and give necessary technical and management guidelines, promoting indigenisation under the AtmaNirbhar Scheme of the government.
