Rajesh Kumar Singh set to be next CMD of Bridge & Roof Company

New Delhi: Rajesh Kumar Singh is set to be the next Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) of Bridge & Roof Company (India) Limited. He has been recommended for the post by a Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Monday. He is currently serving as Chief Engineer at the Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd. (KRCL). Singh has been recommended for the post of CMD of Bridge & Roof Company from the list of three candidates, who were interviewed by the selection panel. The other two candidates who were on the list were Bridge & Roof Company's Director (Project Management) and Maharastra State Electricity Transmission Co. Ltd.'s Director (Projects).

Singh is an Engineering Graduate from Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BIT), Pilani. Before joining Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd. in June 2013, he served as Deputy General Manager in RITES Limited, a PSU under the Ministry of Railways.

As CMD of Bridge & Roof Company, Singh will be the company's chief executive and will be accountable to its Board of Directors and the government/shareholders. He also will be responsible for the efficient functioning of the corporation for achieving its corporate objectives and performance parameters.
