New Delhi/Jaipur: Under the guidelines received from the Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises, Rajasthan Electronics and Instruments Limited's (REIL) employees and their family members performed Yoga, on the occasion of 7th International Yoga Day from 07:00 AM to 7:45 AM, on the virtual platform on Monday. The celebration was commenced through Common Yoga Protocol (CYP) developed by the Ministry of AYUSH, in view of the prevailing Corona pandemic keeping social distancing and ensuring adherence to the rules of distance and COVID appropriate behaviour. The Yoga and Yogic activities were done and a lecture session was organised by the yoga instructor from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM on the virtual platform. In which the yoga instructor deliberated on the importance of Yoga in life along with yogic activities.
Apart from this, various types of competitions have been organized by the Ministry of AYUSH for all the employees, in which all the employees have been motivated to participate and in this sequence, essay and slogan competitions have been organized for the employees in the undertaking also.
On this occasion, REIL's Managing Director Rakesh Chopra said that Yoga is such an accessible and natural method, from which many spiritual benefits can be obtained along with a healthy mind and body. He also reiterated the benefits of yoga to all the employees and asked them to do Yoga regularly, with the family so that the positive energy of yoga can be spread in all directions.
