New Delhi: Rajasthan Electronics and Instruments Limited (REIL), a Jaipur-based Miniratna PSU has been conferred with the "10th PSE Excellence Award" in the Research and Development (R&D) and Innovation category. This prestigious award had been given on the digital platform to REIL's Managing Director (MD) Rakesh Chopra by the Jury on Chair of ICC, Dr Bhaskar Chatterjee, in the presence of Former ONGC Chief RS Sharma, Former Director of IMT Ghaziabad Dr Ashish Bhattacharyya and Mazar's Managing Partner Kartik Radia and other dignitaries. This prestigious award is being given by the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) to recognize the contribution of public sector enterprises in the development of the country.
On this occasion, Rakesh Chopra reiterated the commitment to "Shaping Rural India through Electronics, Renewable Energy and IT Solutions". He said that the company is providing quality products as per the requirement of the customers by incorporating the latest technology as per the "Make in India" mission of the government through in-house R&D efforts. The company emphasizes on innovation, innovation is the key for the development of the organisation and the welfare of society at large. The company has a government recognized R&D center which works on continuous development and modification of the company's products and services.
He also thanked the organisers and the jury for selecting the REIL for this prestigious award and thanked the Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises and government of Rajasthan for support and guidance.
Chopra congratulated REIL's R&D team for this award and assured that the company will continue to provide electronics, renewable energy and information technology-based solutions and services for the social and economic development of rural and urban brethren.
